Indian Ordnance Factories Applications are invited for the following posts in Semi Skilled Grade in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 and Grade, Pay of Rs. 1800.00 + Other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees, from the citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications / specifications as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly handwritten in the following format only.

Indian Ordnance Factories Khadki Vacancies 2010 :

* Posts reserved for Ex-Serviceman will be adjusted by Horizontal Reservation i.e. the selected' candidate will be adjusted against the categories of SC / ST / OBC / UR to which they belong. The Senior General Manager, High Explosives Factory, Khadki reserved the right to change the number of vacancies if necessary.

If sufficient candidates are not available for particular posts / trades the vacancies can be added to other posts / trades. The successful candidates will have to give an undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any equivalent post as per exigency of production requirement in the factory.

Abbreviations stands for:

• UR - Un-Reserved
• SC - Scheduled Caste
• ST - Scheduled Tribe
• OBC - Other Backward Classes
• Ex-Man - Ex-Servicemen

Age limit for Indian Ordnance Factories 2010 Recruitment : 18 to 32 years for General Candidates, as on last date of receipt of application.

Relaxation :

1. Upto the period of trade apprenticeship.
2. Upto 5 years for SC & ST.
3. Upto 3 years for OBC Candidates on production of caste Certificate with "Non-Creamy Layer" clause issued by the Competent Authority.
4. Upto 3 years in addition to the period of Service rendered in the Defence Services for Ex -Servicemen on production of Discharge Certificate for Ex Servicemen issued by the Competent Authority.
5. Upto 40 years for Departmental Candidates with 3 years continuous service (additional 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC).

Essential Qualification for Indian Ordnance Factories Jobs :

1. National Council for Vocational Training (NCTVT) Certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.
2. For considering the AOCP Trade / post NCTVT certificate in "Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)" failing which ITI pass or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.

Method of Selection : There will be a trade test in the trade in which a candidate has obtained NCTVT or ITI or equivalent Diploma Certificate.

Photographs : The candidate should affix his / her recent (not more than three months old) passport size photograph on the application form at the prescribed place duly signed by him / her. The candidate's signature on the photograph should be in such a way that signature is partly on the application form.

He / She should also enclose two more copies of the same photograph (self signed on front of photographs and name and post / trade applied should be written on the back of the photographs).

Closing Date for receipt of Indian Ordnance Factories Application Form 2010 : The closing date of receipt of applications will be 21st day from the date of publication in Employment News (dated on March 13, 2010) excluding the date of publication.

For example, if the advertisement is published in the Employment News on 05th of the month, then the closing date will be the 26th of the month. If the closing date falls on Sunday or Holiday, then the next working day will be taken as closing date of the receipt of applications.

Preference : Ex Trade Apprentices of the Ordnance Factories will be given preference as they are conversant with jobs in Ordnance Factories & have been trained by Ordnance Factories incurring expenditure.

The Senior General Manager reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Screening Test / Practical Test / Interview to a reasonable limit and also reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies in the trade / category depending upon the actual requirement which will be determined after selection from Ex-Trade Apprentice of Ordnance Factories is completed.

The criteria for selection shall be as per the Trade test Specifications prescribed in the SRO.

Rejection of Application : The application shall be summarily rejected on following grounds.

1. If application is received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever.
2. If Date & Signature is not appended in the application form on the prescribed places.
3. If the candidate does not put "Left Hand Thumb Impression" on the application form at the prescribed column.
4. If the age of the candidate exceeds the prescribed age limit on the closing date.
5. If the essential qualification is not possessed by the candidates.
6. If photograph (self signed) is not pasted in application form and the signature is not partly on the photograph and partly on the application form and same is not accompanied by two more copies of the same photograph.
7. If copies of all supporting documents duly attested by Gazetted Officer are not enclosed.
8. In case of OBC Candidates, if OBC declaration is not signed by the Candidate and recent "Non-Creamy Layer" certificate is not enclosed.
9. If application is not complete in any respect as per the requirement given in the advertisement.

General Instructions for Recruitment in Indian Ordnance Factories :

1. Candidates appearing for Written Test / Trade Test will travel on their own expenses.
2. SC / ST Candidates shall be paid only one side Second Class Railway fare or Bus fare chargeable by shortest route provided that the distance travelled by Rail / Bus each way exceeds 30 kms. No extra charge if any, incurred for reserving seat / sleeping berth in the train / bus will however be reimbursed.
3. Newspaper cutting should not be used as application form. However candidates can submit the application in printed / type format, subject to that the format of the application is same as given in the advertisement. Overwriting or blocking in any form is not permissible. Change if any is to be attested with full signature of candidate.
4. Name of the post applied for must be clearly superscribed / written on the top of the envelop in capital letters.
5. Submissions of false / incorrect / incomplete information and/or dubious / bogus document shall disqualify the candidate.
6. Copies of all documents i.e. Date of Birth Certificate, Educational Qualification and Mark Sheets, Experience Certificate Caste Certificate, Ex-Servicemen Certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be enclosed with the application. "No Objection Certificate" should be enclosed in original, where applicable. No documents should be enclosed in original except "No Objection Certificate".
7. Person working in Central / State Govt. / PSU must apply through proper Channel along with the certificate from their establishment that "No disciplinary action is pending / comntemplated against them & that they have no objection in releasing them in case of selection.
8. For Departmental Candidates relevant rules & conditions shall apply.
9. Mere submission of application form does not guarantee issue of "Admit Card" for Written Test / Trade Test.
10. Only selected Candidate will be informed for their selection in due course after the selection process and no other correspondence on the subject would be entertained.
11. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
12. The New Pension Scheme (NPS) i.e. "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" is compulsory for all Central Govt. Employees who are appointed on or after 01-01-2004.
13. The candidates after appointment are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance Factory in India, subject to exigencies.
14. The successful candidates will have to give an Undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any post as per exigency of Production requirement in the Factory after induction training in that trade.
15. The advertisement is subject to orders, if any, by Hon'ble Courts / Ministry of Defence / Ordnance Factory Board etc.
