Indian Ordance Factories Recruitment 2010 invited applications for the following NIE Post of group "C" vacancies from citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualification / specification as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly hand-written in the indicated format on A-4 size paper preferably.

Between 18 and 25 years. Relaxable up to 35 years for departmental candidates or in accordance with instruction issued by Goverment from time to time (Age Relexation for reserved category as per rule).
Qualification :
(i) Matriculation (ii) Must have completed basic course on elementary fire fighting from a recognized Institute. The duration of the Basic Fire Fighting course will not be less than Six Months. The institute offering Basic Course on Fire Fighting should be recognized by State Goverment / Goverment of India. (iii) Must be physically fit and capable for performing strenuous duties. This requirement will be tested as under :
- Height without Shoes 165 cms.
- Chest (unexpanded) 81.5 cms. (Expanded) 85 cms.
- eight 50 kgs. mini Endura ce test.
- Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 mtrs. within 96 seconds.
- Clearing 2.7 mtrs. wide ditch landing on both feet (long jumps)
- Climbing 3 mtrs. vertical rope using hands and feet.
Note :

Scheme & Syllabus Firman-II
- Measurement of Physical Standards (as Specified in the SRO).
- Endurance Test (As specified in the SRO) : Endurance test will be done only for those .candidates who qualify in measurement of physical standard.
- Indian Ordance Factories Recruitment 2010 Written Test : Only for those who possess the prescribed physical standards and qualify in the endurance test.

Indian Ordnance Syllabus for Fireman Jobs:
I.General Intelligence : The questions will be of 8th Standard and would include both verbal and non-verbal type.
The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualisation, visual memory, discrimination observation, relationship concept, 8th standard arithmetic.
II. General Awareness on Fire Fighting : This test will also include simple and common questions on General Knowledge and knowledge of operational use of Fire Fighting Equipments, life saving drills and causes of fire.
Grading will be done based on marks obtained in written test.
