GRSE Requires Supervisors (S1)

1. Design Assistant (S-1)

(a) No. of post : 01 (one), Reserved for ST candidates.

Design Assistant Job Description :

(b) Qualification : Diploma in Shipwright / Civil / Mechanical from a recognized Institute. Experience / knowledge / exposure in shipbuilding related activities would be preferable.

Candidates should have working knowledge in preparing drawing through Auto CAD / similar software. The candidate should be able to read the drawing & identify the components with specification from the drawings / material list. They should also have the basic idea on scheduling, quantity survey & measures.

2. Personal Assistant (S-l)

(a) No. of post : 03 (three), Reserved for OBC candidates.

(b) Qualification : Graduate in any discipline. The applicants must have minimum speed 80 words per minute in Shorthand and 30 words per minute in Typing (English). Must have adequate knowledge in Computer Application & proficiency in Word/Excel, spread sheet and PPT. P.G. Diploma in Management / Computer Application from Govt. recognized Institution would be an added advantage.

3. Supervisor (Dock)(S-1)

(a) No. of post : 01 (one), Reserved for OBC candidates.

(b) Qualification & Experience : The candidates must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination and 2nd class Inland Master(WB) Certificate issued by MMD, Kolkata with 2(two) years experience in Moogly River.

4. GRSE Age limit 2010 : 28 years as on 1st March 2010.

5. GRSE Pay Scale : Rs. 9900-23300/-.

6. Relaxation of age in case SC / ST / OBC / PH / Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. Directives. (CMD is empowered to relax upper age limit up to five years in all cases over and above the prescribed limits mentioned above).

Note :

1. In addition to Basic, Industrial DA, HRA, LTA, CPF, Medical facilities, Other Allowances, Gratuity etc. are admissible as per the Company's Rules.
2. The guidelines in the matter of SC / ST / OBC / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Handicapped candidates will be considered as per Govt. Directives.
3. Candidates working in Central / State Govt. / Autonomous bodies / PSU should apply through proper channel.
4. SC / ST candidates will be reimbursed actual Train / Bus fare at the shortest route for to & fro journey at the time of appearing written test / interview as per Govt. Rules.
5. T.A. will be paid to the other category of candidates only for appearing in the interview in the same manner as note (iv) above as per Company's Rules.
6. Mere fulfillment of eligibility conditions will not entitle a candidate to be called for GRSE Written Test 2010 / GRSE Interview.

8. Application is to be accompanied by a PO / Bank Draft of Rs. 25/- drawn in favour of "Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited" payable at Kolkata. SC / ST / PH candidates are exempted.

9. GRSE Selection will be made on the basis of written test followed by interview of the eligible candidates.

10. Application is to be submitted in an envelope superscribing the post applied for.

11. Incomplete application will not be entertained.
