Essential Educational Qualification : Passed 10th / Madhyamik/ Matriculation.
Age Limit for GRSE Recruitment 2010 : 26 (Twenty Six) Years as on 01 March 2010.
Experience for Serviceman Jobs : 2 Years working experience in the respective discipline.
Scale of Pay : Rs.6000-12570.
Description of Serviceman Duties :
The selected candidates in respect of the disciplines enumerated at Para-2 above will have to work for the Ships / Boats / Crafts, other Yard Constructions and Production Oriented Centres as per the production norms and Multi Trade Concept of the Company including the Job-specification applicable to them against respective discipline.
the selected candidates against the discipline of Serviceman-V (Fitter) will be deployed in the Company's Diesel Engine Plant at Ranchi and will have to work as per the production norms and Multi Trade Concept of the Company including the Job-specification applicable for Fitter discipline. However they can be posted to any Unit of the Company.
Relaxation / Concession : Relaxation / Concession for SCs, STs, OBCs, PHs and Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Govt. directives.
Note :
In addition to Basic Pay, D.A, H.R.A, Other Allowances as applicable, CPF, Gratuity etc. are admissible as per Company's Rules.
Statutory deduction of P.F will be made and Statutory deduction of ESI will also be made, if applicable.
Leave entitlement will be applicable as per the provisions of the relevant Act / Rules of the Company.
Medical Facilities will be applicable as per Company's Rules.
GRSE Selection Process 2010 : The Selection methodology for all the disciplines will comprise Written Test, Trade Test and Interview. Those candidates short-listed in the Written Test will be required to appear for Trade / Practical Test and Interview. Assessment of the candidate will be made on allotment of 100 marks out of which 30 marks will be allotted for Written Test, 50 marks for Trade / Practical Test and the balance 20 marks for Personal Interview.
The candidate must secure minimum qualifying marks i.e. @ 50% individually in the Written Test and Trade / Practical Test as also clear the Interview to quality for inclusion in the merit list of successful candidates for the notified posts.
Additional weightage amounting to maximum 4 marks out of 20 allotted in the Personal Interview, will be given to the Son / Ward of Retired / Retiring GRSE employees. The Merit List will be prepared on the basis of total performance.

GRSE 2010 Application Form : Typed application in English or Hindi in block letters on an A-4 size paper.
Typed applications with all enclosures should reach the following address within 06.05.2010.
Candidates must attach photo copy of certificates, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, in support of their qualification, age, experience, Employment Exchange Regn. Card, Caste Certificate, Disability Certificate etc. along with the application.
The OBC candidates need to attach Non-Creamy layer certificate along with the caste certificate issued by competent authority. Candidates serving in Government / quasi Government Offices, Public Sector Undertakings are to submit their applications through proper channel.
In case, the applicant sends an advance copy of the application, a 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer is to be produced at the time of GRSE Interview, failing which his / her candidature for the post will not be considered.
