Last Date of Receiving GRSE Application Form 2010 is 28.06.2010.
1. No. of posts : 12 (Twelve). 03 (Three) posts are reserved for SC, 01 (One) for ST and 02 (Two) posts for OBC candidates. 06 (Six) posts are UR.
2. Educational Qualification for Supervisor Jobs : Govt. recognized Diploma in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
3. Eligibility for Supervisor Recruitment in GRSE 2010 :
Ex-serviceman from the Indian Navy with medical category "AYE-One" & equivalent.
Serving Service Personnel due to retire on or before 30th June, 2010.
Character: Exemplary / Very Good.

5. Selected personnel shall be positioned in Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata initially. They may be transferred, however, anywhere in India, if required.
6. Preference will be given to the personnel who have experience in FRP Boat building and FRP Boat related propulsion equipment repairs and maintenance. In exceptional cases, the CMD may relax experience criteria by maximum two years at his discretion in respect of exceptionally deserving candidates.
7. Supervisor Age limit for GRSE 2010 Recruitment : 45 years as on 01.01.10.
8. GRSE Supervisor Pay Scale : Basic pay Rs.9,900/- in the pay scale of Rs.9,900 - 23,300.
9. Relaxation of age in case of SC / ST / OBC / PH / Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. Directives. (CMD is empowered to relax upper age limit up to five years in all cases over and above the prescribed limits mentioned above).
Note :
Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PH as applicable has been indicated against each post. However, candidates from reserved communities fulfilling eligibility criteria may also apply for the posts earmarked as UR as per Govt. Rules.
The persons with 40% disability having handicapped certificate issued from the Competent Authority can also apply for the post in accordance with provision of para 25 of DOP & TOM No. 36035 / 3 / 2004-Estt (per) dated 29 Dec. 05.
In addition to Basic, Industrial DA, HRA, LTA, CPF, Medical facilities, etc. are admissible as per the Company's Rules.
The guidelines in the matter of SC / ST / OBC / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Handicapped candidates will be considered as per Govt. Directives.
Candidates working in Central / State Govt. / Autonomous bodies / PSU should apply through proper channel.
SC / ST candidates will be reimbursed actual Train / Bus fare at the shortest route for to & fro journey at the time of appearing for written test / interview as per Govt. Rules.
TA will be paid to the other category of candidates only for appearing in the GRSE Interview in the same manner at note (vi) above as per the Company's Rules.
Mere fulfillment of eligibility conditions will not entitle a candidate to be called for written test / interview.

11. GRSE 2010 Application is to be accompanied by a PO / Bank Draft of Rs. 25/- drawn in favour of "Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited" payable at Kolkata. SC / ST / PH candidates are exempted.
12. GRSE Selection Process 2010 will be made on the basis of written test followed by interview of the eligible candidates.
13. Application is to be submitted in an envelope superscribing the post applied for.
14. Incomplete application will not be entertained.
