Food Corporation of India Recruitment for Assistant Grade III (Technical).

Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food Grain Management and Allied activities, wishes to induct young and talented persons for the post of Assistant Grade III (Technical).

Qualification for FCI Recruitment: Degree in Science preferably in Agriculture.

FCI Noida Recruitment 2010 Selection Process:

The selection process for the post consists of written test, group discussion and interview. The venue and schedule of written test for FCI Noida Recruitment will be intimated to individual applicant along with the FCI admit card. The same will also be uploaded on the FCI's website http://specialtest.in/fci.

The written test for FCI North Zone Recruitment will be in Hindi & English which will consist of two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice question of the relevant technical discipline and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions of general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs.

On qualifying the written test, GD & Interview will be held for short-listed candidates. It is essential to appear in every stage of the Food Corporation of India Exam.

FCI Exam 2010 Test Centres: The list of Test Cities along with Test City Codes is as given below.

Reservation and Relaxations for FCI North Zone Recruitment 2010:

1. The prescribed qualification, experience and the age limit shall be reckoned as on 01.07.2009. The maximum age limit can be relaxed for 5 years in case of SC / ST candidates and 3 years for OBC - NCL (Non creamy layer) candidates.

2. In case of departmental employees, there is no age bar.

3. FCI Noida age limit for PH candidates is relaxed by 10 Years (15 Years for PH candidates belonging to SC / ST and 13 Years for PH candidates belonging to OBC - NCL).

Original medical certificate of the short listed candidates will be scrutinized / verified at the time of interview. Candidate selected under PH quota will be adjusted against the respective category i.e. SC / ST / OBC - NCL.

4. Age is additionally relaxed by 5 Years for those applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. Any applicant intending to avail the relaxation under this category shall have to submit a certificate from

1. The District Magistrate Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction she / he had ordinarily resided or
2. Any other authority designated on this behalf by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir in the effect that She / he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
