Filling up of the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the pay scale of Rs.5500-175-9000 on transfer on deputation/absorption basis in various offices of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation-Regarding.

Employees' Provident Fund Organisation requires the services of suitable serving Junior Engineers (Civil) for filling up the 12 (physical & anticipated) vacant posts of Junior Engineers (Civil) in the Physical Facility Division of its Regional Offices located in the different parts of India.

At present 01 vacancy exist in the Regional offices located at Bihar, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, NER, Oiissa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and 02 in Headquarters at New Delhi. Eligibility conditions for Junior Engineer (Civil)

(A) Only Officers' of the Central/State Government, Departments, Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies/Organization/Public Sector Undertaking under the control of Central Government/State Government

  1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or
  2. With 3 years regular service in the posts in the pay scale of Rs.5000-8000,or equivalent, and

(B) Possessing the following education qualification and experience :

  1. Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering from an Institute/Board recognized by the Central Government or equivalent qualification.

Nature of Job of Junior Engineer (Civil)

The Organisation has assets in the form of land & buildings. Maintenance of existing assets and monitoring of running projects will be essential duties.

Extensive touring will be needed to monitor out-station projects. Experience in Estimation, Drawing & Design will be preferred.

Terms of deputation in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation

The deputation will be governed as per the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training as applicable to Central Government Departments/Organizations. The matter of pay and allowances will be governed strictly by the orders of the Central Government for such comparable posts.

Preference will be given to the officers whose Pay and allowances are governed by the Central government rules including GPF Rules. The appointment in Employees Provident Fund Organization will be further subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions of appointment issued by the Employees Provident

Fund Organization, if found necessary. The tenure of deputation will be initially for a period of three years. The maximum age limit of the applicant should not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

It is mentioned that candidates selected on deputation can be considered for permanent absorption on the basis of performance during the tenure of deputation and in his parent department.

The application of the officers fulfilling the above conditions may please be arranged to be forwarded alongwith the details in the enclosed proforma with photocopies of Annual Confidential Reports for the last 5 years duly attested and integrity certificate clearly stating that there is no vigilance case pending or contemplated as on date by name to the following addresses within 45 days from the date of Issue of this advertisement. It may be noted that the applications are not received through proper channel and received after the prescribed date shall not be entertained. Employees' Provident Fund Organisation reserves the right to consider the candidature or candidature as per the eligibility criteria.

Canvassing in any form will be reject a sufficient ground for rejection of the candidature. The candidates may note that mere possession of the qualification does not entitled him/her for appointment. It is mentioned that the candidates having more basic pay than the prescribed pay scale of Junior Engineer (Civil) may not be applied.
