Defence Research & Defence Organisation, Ministry of Defence, is proposed to fill up the posts of Stores Officer on deputation basis (including short term contract) from amongst officers under the Central / State Government or Autonomous Scientific / Technical Organisations possessing the requisite qualification, as mentioned below.

The selected officers will be entitled to normal deputation terms as admissible under the Central Government Rules in force from time to time (i.e. as per DOP&T norms).

The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation / department of the Central Govt should ordinarily not exceed three years. Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.

The maximum DRDO age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of application.

A. Number of posts : 17 (Seventeen) (Subject to change)

B. Locations (Subject to change) : Ambernath, Agra, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Mussoorie, Mysore and Pune.

C. DRDO Pay Scale & Classification : Rs. 6,500-10,500/- (pre-revised pay scale) (Group 'B', Gazetted); Now PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600.

D. Qualitative DRDO Requirement 2010 : Officers under the Central / State Government or Autonomous Scientific / Technical Organisations :

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis Or
2. With three years regular service in posts in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.5,500-9,000/- Or
3. With eight years regular service in posts in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.5,000-8,000/- Or equivalent.

Educational Qualification and Experience for DRDO 2010 Recruitment :

1. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent and
2. 3 years experience in a Government / Semi-Government office or in a private concern of repute, in indenting purchases, maintenance of technical stores / accounts.

1. Complete and up to date ACRs of the officers for the last 5 years (i.e., 2004-05 to 2008-09) or attested photocopies thereof. Photocopies of ACRs must be attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent on each page. Photocopies of ACRs which are not attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent shall not be accepted.
2. Certificate / statement of major / minor penalties imposed on the officer during last 10 years and
3. Vigilance and disciplinary clearance and integrity certificate in respect of those who could be spared in the event of their selection.
4. Certificate by the Cadre Controlling Authority as per given pro-forma.

DRDO 2010 Application Form received after the last date or without any of the aforesaid documents / information or otherwise incomplete will not be considered.

While forwarding the DRDO application, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct, that there is no doubt about the integrity of the officer and no disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against the officer.
