Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc.(Physics as principle and Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / Electronics / Computer Science as subsidiary subjects).
Note : Candidates with minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics / Computer Science / as subjects with equal weightage will also be considered, provided they have Physics & Mathematics (must) and any one from the above set of subjects. |

Electronics / Instrumentation |

SSC or HSC with a minimum 60% marks in Science & Maths subjects plus ITI certificate in Instrumentation / Electronics / Machinist / Electrical / Fitter / Turner / Miller. The ITI / NCVT qualification should be either of the following three :
ITI / NCVT put together of not less than 3 years Or ITI of 2 years duration Or ITI of 1 year duration Plus 1 year relevant experience after completion of the course.

SSC or HSC with a minimum 60% marks in Science & Maths subjects plus ITI certificate in Laboratory. The ITI / NCVT qualification should be either of the following two :
ITI / NCVT of 2 years duration Or ITI of 1 year duration Plus 1 year relevant experience after completion of the course Or HSC (10+2) in Science stream with Maths and Biology subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate will also be considered at the discretion of this Research Centre.

Note :
For Category - I :
Those candidates who have passed M.Sc. / Degree in Engineering / AMIE / equivalent or are appearing for M.Sc./ in Engineering / AMIE / equivalent (final year) will not be considered and hence need not apply.
Diploma should be from Government recognized institution.
For Category - II :
Those candidates who have passed B.Sc. / Diploma in Engineering / AMIE / Degree in Engineering / equivalent or are appearing for B.Sc. / Diploma in Engineering / AMIE / Degree in Engineering / equivalent (final year) will not be considered and hence need not apply.
ITI certificate should be from Government recognized institution.
