Recruitment in CVD Delhi Cantonment
Ref employment notice published in Employment News dated 05-11 April, 2008 vide No. DAVP 10202/11/0255/0708 (EN 1/108) and leading Newspapers for the following vacancies. All concerned are hereby informed that the de-novo recruitment process will be carried out for Thirteen Posts of CMD (07 vac are de-novo cases + 06 are fresh = Total 13 posts) and one (01) post of Telephone Operator notified in above advertisement. Therefore, applications are invited for these posts from Indian National eligible candidates :
CMD in the Pay scale of Rs. 5200 - 20200 + 1900/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees for following categories :

Essential : Civil Driving license for driving light as well as Heavy vehicles. At least three (03) years in experience in driving and maintenance of vehicles. Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board institution.

Age limit for Ex - serviceman will be as under :
Ex-servicemen : Service rendered in Army/Navy/Air Force shall be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years.
Candidates fulfilling above conditions may submit their applications as per the format given below and attach the following documents alongwith the application :
Two (02) passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer one on right corner of application and one on Acknowledgement Card.
- Attested copies of following certificate :
- Education qualification certificate.
- Birth certificate.
- Caste certificate where applicable.
- Driving License where applicable.
- Discharge Certificate for Ex / Serviceman where applicable.
Candidates will enclose a self addressed envelope affixing postal stamps of Rs.22/- required for registered cover for return of acknowledgement card so as to reach Commandant CVD Delhi Cantt PIN 900106 C/O 56 APO by 1600 hrs within twenty one days from the date of publication of this adv. The covering letter/envelope should be marked with "Application for the post of..................." No application will be entertained after closing date i.e. 21st day from the date of publication of this advertisement notice.
Test / Interview will be held at CVD Delhi Cantt on dates mentioned in Acknowledgement Card for each. Applicants should report at CVD Delhi Cantt on the date and time of test/interview as mentioned in the Acknowledge Card. No separate letter except Acknowledgement Card will be issued.
The individual should be in possession of acknowledgement card and all original documents at the time 'of interview. No individual will be entertained who are not in possession of Acknowledgement card issued by the depot.
The number of candidates to be called for interview will be restricted to 10 times of number of vacancies. A bench-mark percentage will be fixed for the same depending on the number of likely applicants.
Candidates who have applied earlier against the advertisement published for above vacancies are required to apply "afresh". Their age for the post will be calculated from the last date prescribed for receipt of application in the original advertisement i.e. 21 April 2008.
Note :
Please note that incomplete applications without affixing photograph or without enclosing attested copies of educational certificate/showing date of birth, caste certificate, discharge certificate and driving license (as applicable) or if applicant is found overage on last date of receipt of application as indicated above will be rejected and candidate will not be entertained for interview.
Candidates must ensure that no column is left blank or wrongly filled. Applications not filled correctly are liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the candidate himself. The unit administration will not entertain any claim after such rejection. The application format be typed on A4 size paper.
Candidate who apply against OBC category shall attach and produce the "Other Backward Class" certificate and not the "Backward Class" certificate duly signed by appropriate authority.
No application will be accepted in person or through any representative. The application must be posted to the addressee under registered cover. The unit will not be responsible for any kind of postal delay.
No TA / DA for the test / interview will be paid. Candidates will make their own boarding and lodging arrangement for test / interview.
Unit will not be responsible to pay any damages in case of injury to candidate during physical test where applicable.
Any dispute with regard to the recruitment will be subject to the Courts having jurisdiction in Delhi only.
