DVC Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2010 Qualification & Experience:

1.
Management Trainee (Personnel & Administration)
Post - 2010/1
Essential Qualification for DVC Recruitment 2010:
Masters Degree / Post Graduate Diploma (at least 2 years full time) equivalent to Degree in HR Management / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations or MBA (at least 2 years full time with HR / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management as main subjects) from AICTE approved Institutes / Universities with not less than 55% marks. 5% marks relaxable for SC & ST.

Desirable Qualification for DVC Recruitment 2010:
Pass in examination from Labour Dept., Govt. of West Bengal / Bihar / Jharkhand for LWO qualifying tests as per Factories Act, 1948 Rule Section 49 as well as Mines Rules 1955 sub rule - 2 of rules 72.

Note: The selected candidates not possessing the desirable qualification as above need to acquire the same within probation period of one year failing which probation shall be extended up to two years.

Explanation:
Master Degree / Post Graduate Degree / Diploma includes Masters in Labour & Social Welfare (LSW), Masters in Social Welfare (MSW), Human Resource Management (HRM), Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) of two years full time duration. In case of any dispute regarding the equivalency of the required Qualification Requirement (QR), the decision of DVC shall be final & binding.
2.
Sr. Chemist Gr.III (Trainee)
Post - 2010/2
Two years' full time M.Sc (Chemistry) with B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from a recognized Institute / College / University with at least 60% marks in aggregate of all years / semesters. Relaxation of 5% marks for SC / ST candidates.
3.
Safety Officer
Post - 2010/3
1. Possess Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology with two years' practical experience of working in a factory. Or

Possess Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics / Chemistry with five years' practical experience of working in a factory. Or

Possess a recognized Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology with practical experience of working in a factory in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 4 (four) years. And

2. Possess full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute / Institutions recognized under the Factory Act / Rules. And

3. Qualified at a viva-voce test conducted by the Labour Department of the State Government of Jharkhand or West Bengal, as the case may be.
4.
Asst-cum-Junior Translator (Hindi)
Post - 2010/4
BA (Hons) in Hindi. English as one of the compulsory elective subject at the Degree Level.

Desirable Experience for Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2010:
A recognized Diploma / Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central / State Govt. Offices including Govt. of India Undertakings.

Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2010 Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Selection Test followed by Personal Interview of short listed candidates. Based on merit and vacancy requirement, the list of successful candidates for interview will be made available at http://www.dvc.gov.in.

Reservations and Relaxations for DVC Recruitment 2010:

  1. Reservations and relaxations for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Physically Handicapped (degree of disability 40% or above) candidates will be provided as per GOI Directives.
  2. Category (SC / ST / OBC / PH) once filled in will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on.
  3. No fee will be charged from SC, ST, Physically Handicapped (PH) & Departmental (DVC) candidates.
  4. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. For PH candidates, it is relaxable by 10 years for PH - General, 13 years for PH - OBC and 15 years for PH - SC / ST candidates.
  5. There is no age bar for departmental (DVC) candidates.
  6. The OBC candidates who belong to "Creamy Layer" are not entitled for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category not as OBC but as General only.

Service Agreement Bond:

All the selected candidates for appointment against Post No. 2010/1, 2010/2 & 2010/3 will be required to execute a service Agreement Bond of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) in the prescribed format to be submitted at the time of joining for serving at least two years in DVC.

Compensation Package:

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Band with the corresponding Grade Pay as shown in Column 6 of the above Table. Besides basic pay, candidates will also be paid Central Dearness Allowance.

Other Allowances and benefits such as leave medical treatment, Leave Travel Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Conveyance Allowance, and HRA etc admissible as per Corporation rules in force from time to time.
