Central Forensic Science Laboratory invites applications for the following post on Deputation / Transfer Basis :

Two posts of Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemistry) (Group 'B' Non Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- in the Central Forensic Science laboratory, Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi, MHA, are proposed to be filled up on deputation basis.

CBI Senior Scientific Assistant Job Description :

1. Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemistry).

2. Scale of Pay : Pay Band - 2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

3. Eligibility : Officers under the Central Government.

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis Or
2. With 5 years regular service in posts in the pay scale of Rs. 1400-2300/2600 (pre revised) or equivalent And
3. Possessing Education Qualifications and Experience :

Essential for CBI Jobs 2010 :

1. Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. One year experience in a Toxicological Laboratory. Or

1. Bachelor's degree with Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. Three year experience in a Toxicological Laboratory.

4. Duties and Responsibilities for CBI Recruitment 2010 :

1. Assisting Reporting officer in carrying out the case work in the division.
2. Maintenance or official records like case registers & case files.
3. Other miscellanceous works assigned by the Senior Scientific Officers from time to time.

Three posts of Senior Scientific Assistant (Finger Print) (Group 'B' Non Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- in the Central Forensic Science laboratory, Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi, Scientific Aid Units at Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata is proposed to be filled up on deputation basis on temporary basis upto 31-12-2012 and are likely to continue futher.

1. Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant (Finger Print) .

2. Scale of Pay : Pay Band - 2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

3. Eligibility for Senior Scientific Assistant Jobs in CFSI 2010 : Officers under the Central Government.

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis Or
2. With 5 years regular service in posts in the pay scale of Rs. 1400-2300/2600 (pre revised) or equivalent And
3. Possessing Education Qualifications and Experience :

Senior Scientific Assistant Qualification: Essential :

1. Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. One year experience in Laboratory in development and identification of finger print. Or

1. Bachelor's degree with Chemistry from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. Three year experience in Laboratory in development and identification of Finger print.

4. Senior Scientific Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Assisting Reporting officer in carrying out the case work in the division.
2. Maintenance or official records like case registers & case files.
3. Other miscellanceous works assigned by the Senior Scientific Officers from time to time.

One post of Senior Scientific Assistant (Lie-Detector) (Group 'B' Non Gazatted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- in the Central Forensic Science laboratory, Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi, MHA, New Delhi are proposed to be filled up on deputation / transfer basis.

1. Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant (Lie-Detector) .

2. Scale of Pay : Pay Band - 2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

3. Eligibility for CBI Jobs in 2010 : Officers under the Central Government.

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis Or
2. With 5 years regular service in posts in the pay scale of RS. 1400-2300/2600 (pre revised) or equivalent And
3. Possessing Education Qualifications and Experience :

Essential :

1. Master's Degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. One year experience in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation. Or

1. Bachelor's degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. Three year experience in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.

Desirable: Experience in handling Polygraph (Lie-Detector and Interrogation).

4. Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Assisting Reporting officer in carrying out the case work in the division.
2. Maintenance or official records like case registers & case files.
3. Other miscellanceous works assigned by the Senior Scientific Officers from time to time.

The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

The Pay of the Officer, selected for the appointment on deputation, and various other conditions will be goverened in accordance with the orders / instructions issued in this regard from time to time by the Government of India.
