BHEL Tiruchirappalli a major Manufacturing unit having a workforce of over 10,000 employees is looking for Nurses (Female) on Fixed Tenure Basis.

Nurses (Female) to be engaged on Fixed Tenure Basis for a maximum period of three years for its 205 bedded Hospital with excellent infrastructure and modern amenities located in its Township and its dispensaries in Tiruchirappalli.

BHEL Requirement 2010 : Nurses (Female) on Fixed Tenure Basis for a maximum period of three years. 25 Posts.

Minimum Qualifications for Nurses :

Bachelor degree in Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all subjects / semesters put together (55% marks for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories). The candidates should have registered with the State Nursing Council.

Experience : Minimum 24 Months in areas like

1. Paediatric Nursing.
2. Operation Theatre Techniques.
3. Intensive Care Unit.
4. Blood Bank.
5. Labour Room Nursing.

Desirable : Working knowledge of Tamil.

Age Limit for BHEL :

Upper age limit as on 1st May 2010 : 29 years (born after 01/05/1981).

Reservation & Relaxation :

1. The details of reservation of Vacancies in BHEL are as under :

The reservation vacancies given are only indicative and subject to marginal revision / adjustment based on assessment at the time of actual selection taking into consideration the category wise excess / shortage.

BHEL Vacancies reserved for OBC Category are meant only for candidates coming under `Non-Creamy Layer'. 'Non-Creamy Layer' under OBC means 'The gross annual income of parents of the candidate should not be more than Rs.4.5 lakhs in last three consecutive years'.

2. Qualifying percentage of marks for SC / ST candidates in the relevant qualification is minimum 55%.

3. A relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST candidates, 3 years for candidates from Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer), and an additional 10 years for Physically Challenged candidates, is admissible in the upper age limit.

4. There is a total Processing Fee of Rs. 125/-. However, no processing fee is to be paid by SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates.

5. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Government Rules.

6. A relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is admissible to candidates who were ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

Emoluments & Other Benefits :

Selected candidates will be paid a compensation of Rs.14,620/- per month, with marginal increases in the second and third year. The compensation to be paid is under revision.
