BHEL is looking for General Surgeon and HSE Engineer.

Heavy Power Equipment Plant, Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad, a major Manufacturing unit of BHEL having a workforce of around 6,000 employees is looking for 1 Senior Medical Officer (General Surgery) and 1 Senior Engineer (HSE).

MBBS degree should be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidates
should also be registered with MCI or State Medical Council.
Reservation and Relaxation:
Out of the total 2 posts being recruited, one post is reserved for OBC candidate belonging to Non-Creamy layer.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and additional 10 years to Physically Challenged candidates.
Age relaxation of 5 years for the Ex-Servicemen having 5 or more years of Work experience as per rules.
Age relaxation of 5 years for candidates ordinarily domiciled from J&K during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
BHEL Selection Process:
All eligible candidates will be invited for the BHEL Interview.
All those candidates who are invited for Personal Interview will be paid First Class (Non-AC) or AC 2 Tier sleeper class to and fro rail fare from the starting station or the mailing address whichever is nearer to the place of interview and back by the shortest route on production of proof of journey.
Emoluments and other benefits:
The selected candidates will normally be placed at the minimum of the scale mentioned against each post. Other benefits include D.A, subsidized accommodation or HRA, NPA (only for Senior Medical Officer) Conveyance Allowance, LTC / LTA, Leave, Contributory Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, Group Insurance, Group Accident Insurance, Medical facilities, etc as per Company rules.
Health Standards for BHEL Jobs 2010:
Appointment to the post will be subject to being found medically fit by the Authorized Medical Authority in BHEL as per Health Standards. The Physically Challenged candidates are required to furnish duly stamped Medical Certificate in relation to their disability from Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for the handicapped.

General Instructions for BHEL Recruitment 2010 :
Candidates belonging to OBC category but not covered under "Non-creamy layer" should indicate their category as "General".
Candidates should carefully fill up the Category (SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / PH) in the application form and the required documentary proof as specified in this advertisement should be submitted.
Only those candidates belonging to the Non-Creamy layer shall be treated as OBC. In the event of being selected and appointed , if it is found that such a statement is false, the candidate will be liable for suitable action including termination and prosecution.
Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the essential BHLE Exam eligibility criteria prescribed for the post for which they applied. In case it is found at any stage of the BHEL selection process or even after appointment that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information or suppressed any relevant information / material facts or does not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria, his / her candidature / services are liable for rejection / termination without notice.
