BHEL, the Country's premier engineering organization & one of the Navratna PSUs, catering to core sector of Indian economy viz Power Generation, Transmission, Industry, Transportation, Telecommunication & Renewable Energy, requires Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineers for Transmission Business Group, New Delhi for its different project sites spread across the country & Component Fabrication Plant, Rudrapur purely on fixed tenure appointment basis (FTA) for a period of two years.

BHEL Engineer Job Description:
Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2010: B. Tech. / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized institute.
Work Experience for Engineering: For the above bhel posts, the candidates should have minimum of one year relevant discipline wise work experience. (Applicant must carry a photocopy set of work experience proof for verification).
Upper age limit: 33 years as on 1st Jan, 2010, relaxation of age of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC / ST candidates. Age relaxation for PH & Ex-servicemen candidates as per Govt. guidelines.
1. Terms of Engagement / Remuneration: The candidates selected for the above engineer positions will be paid an all-inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 28,300/- p.m. for 1st year & if the tenure is extended, Rs. 30,280/- p.m. will be paid for 2nd year.
2. Reservation: Reservation of number of posts for SC / ST / OBC & PH will be as per Govt. Directives.
No. of bhel posts reserved: SC - 4, ST - 1, OBC - 7.
3. BHEL Selection Process: The interested candidates should download the bhel application form / format from bhel website, duly fill it, and carry testimonials & DD (if app.) to the interview centers. The credentials will be thoroughly scrutinized and eligible candidates meeting the job specifications only will be allowed to attend the bhel interviews.
The BHEL interview is scheduled at four different locations and the details are as follows: (Applicant must carry a photocopy set of testimonial along with originals for verification)

4. Processing Fee for BHEL Recruitment of Engineers:
A Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of "BHEL" payable at New Delhi for General & OBC candidates. No processing fee is applicable in case of SC / ST & PH candidates.
No other mode of payment is acceptable. Candidates are advised to write their name, address on reverse side of DD. The demand draft should be drawn on or after the date of advertisement.
TA for 2nd class (sleeper) train fare will be reimbursed to the candidates for attending the interview subject to submission of proof of journey. (Actual TA expense for attending the interview would be refunded to the candidates from the address provided in the communication or the actual place from which the candidate is coming, whichever is less).
Candidates who do not possess minimum standards as mentioned in our advertisement will not be allowed to appear for the interview & also no TA expenses will be reimbursed.
Note: The bhel job offered is purely on fixed tenure appointment basis for a period of two years and will stand terminated after 2 years. This engineer positions is not against any permanent vacancy. This bhel placement will not ensure any regular / permanent employment in BHEL in future.
BHEL reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge the recruitment process without assigning any reason thereof, if need arises. Selected candidates may be deputed to site all over India / other BHEL Units. Candidates appearing without original testimonials or DD (General & OBC candidates) will not be allowed to attend the bhel interview.
