Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the following scientific posts under different institutes and the Headquarters of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

Pay Scale: Rs. 75,000/-(Fixed).

Age:The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

232. Deputy Director General (Animal Science), ICAR, Hqrs. New Delhi (One Post)

Qualifications Essential:

1. A doctoral degree in any branch of Animal Sciences including relevant basic sciences.
2. An eminent scientist/teacher having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Principal Scientist (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.16400-22400) or in an equivalent position out of which 3 years experience should be in a Research Management Position or in an equivalent position or at least 6 years experience in any of the following positions.
1. Heads of Divisions at ICAR Institutes
2. Heads of Regional Stations of ICAR Institutes
3. Project Coordinator
4. Zonal Coordinator
5. National Coordinator, NAIP
6. Joint Directors of Institutes other than IARI / IVRI / NDRI / CIFE and NAARM Or

An eminent scientist having proven record to scientific contribution / working in a reputed organization / institute having at least 21 years of experience in the relevant subject, out of which 3 years experience should be in a Research Management Position or in an equivalent position or at least 6 years experience in any of the following positions.

1. Heads of Divisions at ICAR Institutes
2. Heads of Regional Stations of ICAR Institutes
3. Project Coordinator
4. Zonal Coordinator
5. National Coordinator, NAIP
6. Joint Directors of Institutes other than IARI /IVRI / NDRI /CIFE and NAARM
3. Evidence of contributions to research/ teaching extension education as supported by published work/ innovations.

Desirable: The candidate should have demonstrated scientific leadership and skill in research management with a broad vision and perspective on agricultural research.

Note: If a candidate has less than 3 years experience in a research management position and has experience of working in position/s listed at (ii)(a) to (f) then a weightage equal to half of the service rendered in position(s) listed at (ii)(a) to (f) shall be added to the candidate's actual RMP experience to determine eligibility for these posts (for recruitment against the RMPs in ICAR)

233. National Director, National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) ICAR, Hqrs New Delhi (One Post)

Qualifications Essential:

1. A doctoral degree in any branch of Agriculture and allied Sciences including relevant basic sciences.
2. An eminent scientist/teacher having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Principal Scientist (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.16400-22400) or in an equivalent position out of which 3 years experience should be in a Research Management Position or in an equivalent position or at least 6 years experience in any of the following positions.
