Applications are Invited from the Indian Nationals for the following Scientific Posts Under Different Institutes and the Headquarters of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

Assistant Director General / Joint Director:

Pay Scale: Rs.16.400 - 22400 (Pre-revised) now revised to Pay Band Rs.37.400/- 67,000 (with a minimum pay of Rs.39.690/-) + RGP of Rs.10,000 for the recruitment on or after 1.1.09 as per existing qualification.

Age: The candidate must not have attained the age of 60 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research

Assistant Director General (HRD): (One post)

Qualifications Essential:

1. Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences.
2. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist in the pay scale of Rs.16400-20000 (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position OR An eminent scientist having proven record of scientific contribution working in a reputed organization/institutes having at least 18 years experience in the relevant subject.
3. Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovations.

Desirable: Experience in research management with evidence of scientific leadership. Vision/perspective on agricultural education/HRD.

Assistant Director General (Programme Implementation and Monitoring): (One Post)

Qualifications Essential:

1. Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences Including relevant basic sciences.
2. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist in the pay scale of Rs.16400-20000 (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position OR An eminent scientist having proven record of scientific contribution working in a reputed organization/institutes having at least 18 years experience in the relevant subject.
3. Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovations.

Desirable: Experience in research management with evidence of scientific leadership, vision perspective on Agricultural Research.

Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar.

Joint Director (CADRAD): (One Post)

Qualifications Essential:

1. Doctoral degree in the discipline of Animal Health viz. Veterinary Pathology/Veterinary Microbiology including Bacteriology & Virology/Veterinary Parasitology and including relevant basic sciences.
2. At least 5 years experience as a Scientist in the pay scale of Rs.16400-20000 (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position OR An eminent scientist having proven record of scientific contribution working in a reputed organization/institutes having at least 18 years experience in the relevant subject.
3. Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovations.

Desirable:

1. Specialization and experience in disease diagnosis and control.
2. Experience in research management with evidence of scientific leadership, vision/perspective on Animal Health.
