Applications are invited for the following vacant / anticipated posts in the Principal Bench, Income Tax Settlement Commission, New Delhi, on deputation basis on usual terms and conditions:

The eligibility criteria for appointment to the above posts are as under:

Senior Private Secretary

Officers under the Central Government:

1. Holding analogous posts, or
2. Private Secretaries in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 with 3 years' regular service in the grade.

Enquiry Officers

1. Inspector of Income Tax.
2. Assistant of the Central Secretarial Service with experience of work relating to Direct Taxes.
3. Senior Tax Assistants in the Income Tax Department who are graduates with 3 years' of regular service in the grade and having atleast 2 years' service as Tax Assistant with experience of Income Tax assessment work.

Stenographers Gr.II

Officers under the Central Government:

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis.
2. Stenographers Grade-III with eight years' regular service in the grade in the pre-revised pay.

Scale of Pay: Rs.4000-100-6000

Applications not accompanying ACRs/Vigilance Clearance or otherwise incomplete are liable to be rejected.

While forwarding the applications it may please be ensured that the age of the applicants does not exceed 56 years as on closing date of receipt of applications.

The persons selected for appointment to the above post(s) shall have the option to draw either pay in the scale of pay of the post to which they are appointed or their grade pay plus deputation(duty) allowance in terms of DOP&T O.M. No. 2/8/97-Estt (Pay-II) dated 11.3.1998 as amended from time to time.

The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding the current appointment in the same or other Organization / Department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
