Essential Educational Qualification: Master degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a compulsory subject. OR

Master degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as Compulsory/Elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination at degree level. OR

Bachelors degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory subject and a diploma/certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central / State Government Offices, including Government of India undertakings.

Other Desirable Qualification From amongst Central Government Officers

1. Those holding analogous posts or

2. Those holding posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 (with Grade Pay 2400) (Pre-revised pay scale of Rs.4000-100-6000) or equivalent with 3 years regular service in the grade or;

3. Those holding posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 (with Grade Pay 1900) (Pre-revised pay scale of Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590) or equivalent with 5 years of regular service in the grade. Willing employees having essential and desirable qualifications who can be relieved in the event of their selection can send their vigilance clearance NOC report, Annual Confidential Reports, educational and other certificates duly attested with their application form within 15 days of the advertisement. The period of deputation will be for 1 year in the beginning and after found satisfactory work can be extended by the Head of the Department. The salary and other allowances of those selected on the above said post will be regularized in accordance with DOP&T's OM. 02.12.87, Estt. (Pay.2) dated 29.04.1988" and other relevant memorandums.
