Filling up of the posts of Junior Hindi Translators on deputation basis in various offices under the office of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCA), Lucknow.
Two post of Junior Hindi Translators in. the pay band of Rs.9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4200) in the offices under Chief Commissioner of Income tax(CCA), Lucknow, which are to be filled up by Transfer/transfer on deputation from amongst the officers of the Central Government officers possessing the qualifications and experience as indicated in given below.

Posts in the Pay Band-I of Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay 1900 Or equivalent with 5 years regular service in the grade, and (pre revised pay scale 3050-4590)
Possessing educational and other qualifications laid down in column 8 for Direct recruits. (Selection/ appointment to be made on the basis of written test and interview conducted by the Head of the department concerned in charge of administration) (The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Essential
Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level. OR Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi and English as compulsory / elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level. OR
Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/ English, with Hindi / English medium and English / Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level. OR
Bachelor's degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject, plus a recognized Diploma/ Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice - versa or two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central / State Government offices, including Government of India undertakings.
Desirable
Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or a Modern Indian Language other than Hindi.
Knowledge of Direct Tax Laws/ Procedure, etc.
The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years. Persons above 55 years of age shall normally not be considered for the above post.
The pay of the officers selected for the post will be fixed in terms of the instructions contained in the Department of Personnel & Training's O.M.No. 2/12/87-Estt. (Pay) dated 29-04-1998.

Within 60 days from the date of issue of this Advt. While forwarding the applications, it may please be certified that the particulars furnished by the applicants are correct and no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the officer concerned.
The applications received after the last date or without the confidential character rolls and vigilance clearance or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. Selection of the candidates shall be based on written examination and interview.
It should be made clear to the candidates that if, after selection, they are offered appointment, they will not be allowed to withdraw their names and they will be required to report for duty.
