Employees State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
Employees State Insurance Corporation proposes to recruit the teaching faculty positions in 07 ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research located at Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu & Karnataka on direct recruitment basis.

Twelve years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution inthe subject of speciality after obtaining the degree of M.Ch. / D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognised after MBBS) in the respective discipline / subject or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto. Eleven years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognised degree of D.M. / M.Ch. in the respective discipline / subject or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto. Essential for Non medical candidates: i) Postgraduate qualification e.g. Masters Degree in the discipline / allied subject. ii) A doctorate degree of a recognised university. Experience: Fourteen years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline / subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Note: (1) Qualifications relaxable at the discretion of competent authority in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note: (2) The qualifications regarding experience is / are relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes. Experience: One year teaching and / or research experience in recognised institutions in the subject of speciality after obtai ing the qualifying degree of M.Ch. D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognised after MBBS) or qualification recognised equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognised degree of M.D. / M.Ch. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto. Essential for non-medical candidates: (i) Postgraduate qualification e.g. Masters Degree in the discipline / allied subject. (ii) A doctorate degree of a recognised university. Experience: Three years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Note: (1) Qualifications with regard to experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Appointing Authority on recommendation of the Selection Committee in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note: (2) The qualifications regarding experience in respect of Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes candidate is relaxable based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. |
* The revised pay & allowances shall be payable as per orders of Govt. of India and as adopted by the E.S.I. Corporation in view of the 6th Central Pay Commission.
