Recruitment of Medical Officers in ESI Corporation.
Employees State Insurance Corporation Applications in the prescribed form are invited for filling up of various Medical posts in ESI Hospitals, at Baddi (Himachal Pradesh), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), Manesar (Haryana), Gurgaon (Haryana), Adityapur (Jharkhand) & Sanath Nagar (Andhra Pradesh) as detailed below :

The posts identified under Physically Handicapped category are for OL & OA categories (non surgical jobs only).
The candidates appointed under P.H. quota will be adjusted against the ESIC Vacancies of respective categories of SC / ST / OBC / UR.
In case of nonselection of suitable PH candidates against these posts, unfilled posts under this quota will be treated as unreserved.
Insurance Medical Officer Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- plus nonpracticing allowance as admissible to analogous posts in the Central Health Service.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years (relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the Employees State Insurance Corporation and Government Servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.).
Insurance Medical Officer Upper age limit is also relaxable to SC / ST / OBC & other categories of persons as per rules / instructions of Govt. of India.
Essential & Other Qualifications for Insurance Medical Officer Jobs:
1. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part - II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Holders of educational qualification included in
Part - II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. ***
3. Language test : The candidate shall have to pass a qualifying test of middle standard in official language of the State concerned where the ESIC Vacancies are notified.
Note I : *** Candidates who have not completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall satisfactorily complete the compulsory rotating internship before appointment.
