Recruitment of Lower Division Clerks

A. Applications in the prescribed format are invited to fill up 14 posts of Lower Divisions Clerk in ESI Corporation, Indore [MP].

The break-up of the vacancies is as follows:

SC	ST	OBC	General	Total
02	03	02	07	14

Out of above posts one post is reserved for Ex-serviceman.

Note-1: The candidates applying under OBC Category must submit the certificate in the form to be produced by other backward classes applying for appointment to the posts under the Government of India.

The candidates belonging to only such castes/communities falling in the central list of the OBC prepared by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Governments of India are entitled for reservation in the services under the Government of India.

Note:- 2

1. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are free to apply against vacancies announced for Unreserved/General category.
2. The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary. The Corporation reserves the right to fill up vacancies as per its actual requirement.

Pay &. Allowances: The above posts will carry the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-

B. Age Limit : Between 18-27 years as on 27-02-2009 for the above post. Relaxation in age

1. 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates
2. 03 years for Other Backward Classes
3. In cases of Ex.-Servicemen, service rendered in the Armed forces plus 03 years
4. In case of Physically Handicapped 10 years
5. Relaxable in the case of ESIC employees to the extent of their service in the corporation and Goverment, servants as per rules.

C. Qualifications for ESI Corporation Recruitments:

1. Higher Secondary Pass (Pass in 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
2. Knowledge of typewriting with a speed of 30/25 words per minute in English / Hindi respectively.
3. Working knowledge of computer including use of Office Suites and data bases.

D. Fee & Mode of Payment for ESI Corporation Exams:

Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque of Rs.100/-should be drawn on State Bank of India in favour of the Regional Director, Regional Office, ESI Corporation, Panchdeep Bhavan, Nanda Nagar, Indore Payable at Indore.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex.-Servicemen category and employees of E.S.I. Corporation are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Note:

1. Demand Draft should be drawn on State Bank of India on or after publication of the advertisement and payable at the place as mentioned above. Fee paid by any other mode will not be accepted.
2. Candidates must write his/her name & address on back of the Demand Draft.

E. Scheme of Examination for ESI Corporation Exams:

a) The examination will consist of two parts viz:

Part-I:- The written test will consist of one paper for 200 marks containing 4 parts:

1. English language
2. General Intelligence & General Aptitude
3. Numerical Aptitude
4. General Awareness.

The questions in all the four parts will be of objective type (multiple choice) ones.

Part-ll: Skill Test:

Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be required to appear in a skill test in typewriting/knowledge of computer including use of office suites and data bases.

F. How to apply for ESI Andhra Pradesh Corporation Exams:

Application in the prescribed Form may be submitted in an envelope superscribing "Application for the post of L.D.C", to the following address

The following documents should be attached with application form:

1. Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Group-"A7 Group-"B" Gazetted officer with one photograph pasted on the application form.
2. Two self-addressed envelopes of the size 23cm. X 10cms.
3. Demand Draft drawn in favour of Regional Director, ESIC, Indore. Candidates employed in Goverment/Semi Goverment / Autonomous bodies etc. should send their applications through "Proper Channel".

The last date for receipt of application form is 27.02.2009 by 5 P.M. The application form is to be sent by registered/speed post only. Applications not found complete in all respect shall be rejected.
