Abbreviations stand for:

• SC – Scheduled Caste
• ST – Scheduled Tribe
• OBC: Other backward Classes
• Gen – General
• VH – Visually Handicapped
• HI – Hearing impairment
• OH – Orthopadically Handicapped.

The number of vacancies as mentioned above are provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

A) Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either

1. A citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or
3. A subject of Bhutan or
4. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( formerly Tanganyka and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Goverment of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility in necessary may be admitted to the interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate have been issued to him by the Goverment of India.
