UBI Recruitment 2009 Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification and Post Qualification Experience:

1) Educational Qualification:

A graduate from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Goverment of India.

Experience:

  1. 5 years as commissioned officer (in Army, Navy or Air Force) / Class – I officer in the paramilitary forces and

  2. At the time of release / retirement should be in the rank of Capt./ Major (equivalent in Indian Navy / Air Force) or in the rank of Assistant Commandant or equivalent in paramilitary Forces.

Note:

  1. Education Qualification and Post Qualification Experience should be as on the date of application

  2. Experience in the relevant field of the post applied for will only be considered and counted from the date of acquiring the experience upto the date of application.

  3. Candidates whose result is awaited are not eligible.

2) Relaxation Upper Age Limit:

  1. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.

  2. Ex – Servicemen by 3 Years (in addition to the usual period of service in the Defence forces subject to a maximum age of 50 years).

  3. Other Backward Class Candidates by 3 years.

  4. A person who had originally been domicile in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01/01/1980 to 31/12/2989 by 5years.

Note:
  1. An Ex – Serviceman who has joined a Goverment job on the civil side after availing of the benefits given to him as an Ex- Serviceman for his re-employment, his ex- serviceman status for the purpose of re–employment in Government ceases.

  2. The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Goverment of India guidelines

  3. All persons eligible for age relaxation under 3 (iv) above must produce the domicile certificate at the time of Interview from the District Magistrate in the Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction he / she had originally resided or any other Authority designated in this regard by the Goverment of J & K to the effect that candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during 1st January 1980 to the 31st December, 1989.

3) Application Fee Including Postal Charges (Non – Refundable)

For SC / ST Candidates ( Towards postal charges only): Rs.50/-.

For All others (including OBCs ): Rs.400/-.

Note:

  1. Requisite application fee must be paid by means of Bank Pay Order / Bank Draft issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank payable at Kolkata in favour of “United Bank of India Specialist Officer Recruitment Project – 2008”.
