Mumbai and Maharashtra are treated as two separate States as per Bank's extant policies.
Of the total 1040 vacancies, break-up of reserved vacancies for PWD & Ex-servicemen categories will be as follows: VC-34, HI-39, OC-18 & XS-151.
The number of vacancies as also the number of reserved vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
The recruitment will be on State-Wise / Union Territory-Wise basis indicated above.
A candidate can make an application for only One State or Union Territory and She/He should be willing to be posted at any place in that State / Union Territory.
Further, she/he will have to appear for the Written Test From an Examination Centre Specified For that Particular State / Union Territory only, as indicated in Para No.9 of this Notification, and the Examination Call Letter will be issued accordingly.
No change in the preference of the State / Union Territory Applied & / or Examination Centre will be permitted after submission of the Application Form.
It is imperative that the candidate should know to Read, Write & Speak the Language of the State / Union Territory for which she/he chooses to apply.
However, it may please be noted by the prospective candidates that most of the vacancies identified by the bank are under the branches / offices falling under the following Controlling offices.
The allocations would be comparatively less in the rest of the regions vis-a-vis the regions mentioned below.
