Syndicate Bank Recruitments - Educational Qualification & Experience:
Post Code No.11 - Senior Managers (Credit) in MMGS III: CFA/CA/ICWA. Minimum 5 years experience with a proven record in Junior/Middle Management Grade (JMGSI or MMGS II) in related field in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/Financial Institution. Candidates should have atleast 3 years experience in handling project/Credit appraisal of large Industrial concerns. Basic knowledge of computer operation is essential.
Post Code No.12 - Managers (Credit) in MMGS II: MBA / MMS (Specialization in Finance only), BE/BTech Engineering Graduates in the discipline of Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Production, Chemical Engineering and Instrumentation. Candidates with CFA/CA/ICWA are also eligible. Minimum 3 years experience with a proven record in Junior Management Grade in related field in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/Financial Institution. Basic knowledge of computer operation is essential.
Post Code No. 13 - Officers (Credit) in JMGS I: a) M.Com from any recognized University in India or B.Com with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate (55% in the case of SC, ST, OBC, PH candidates) with Post graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from any recognized University in India, b) Basic knowledge of Computer operation is essential.

The job involves
Evaluation of Credit proposals, project finance, export and import finance
Monitoring and supervision of borrowal accounts, preparation of viability study, rehabilitation programmes
Asset Liability Management and Risk Management
Forex Trading and Management of Investment port folio
Trading in Goverment security market, Debt market and Indian Bond Market.
The educational qualifications prescribed for all the posts is the minimum.
Candidates must possess the educational qualifications as on 01.11.2008 (inclusive) and must attach to the application proof for having acquired the qualifications on or before 01.11.2008.
Note:
Degree/PG degree pass Certificate issued by the University during the convocation shall be enclosed to the application. In case the said Certificate is not available, the Provisional Pass Certificate issued by the University, clearly indicating therein the month and year of passing the qualifying examination.
Year-wise/Semester-wise mark sheet for each year/semester in respect of to the qualifying examination from the concerned University should be enclosed. Since reverse side of the mark sheet contains the instructions, photocopies of both sides of the mark sheets should be enclosed.
Candidates must specifically indicate the class/division and percentage of marks obtained calculated to the nearest two decimals in the relevant column of the application. Where no percentage of marks is awarded by the University, but only CGPA/OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage besides indicating the CGPA/OGPA in the application.
Candidates who are awaiting the results of the qualifying examination OR who have not passed the qualifying examination on or before 01.11.2008 are not eligible. In other words, the result of the qualifying examination should have been announced by the University on or before 01.11.2008 and the date in the passing certificate/marks card should be on or before 01.11.2008.
All Educational qualifications should be from a recognised Institute/Indian University.
For posts where work experience is essential, it should be full time, relevant to the post applied for and should be post qualification i.e., the experience will be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed qualification till 01.11.2008. The candidate shall ensure to provide proof of having the work experience claiming to have possessed.
