State Bank of India SBI PO Recruitment 2010

SBI Recruitment Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) and Probationary Officers (Rural Business) [POs(RB)] in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India. In case of POs (RB) the selected officers will remain under Rural Business Group (RBG) for a minimum period of 10 years.

Last date for registration of SBI Online Applications 02.03.2010

SBI Vacancies for PO: Vacancies for OH & VH category candidates are reserved horizontally. Vacancies including reserved vacancies are provisional and may vary according to the requirements of Bank.

Note:

  1. Eligible candidates desirous of applying for both the posts should register single SBI online application by depositing fees only once.
  2. There will be a common written examination for both the Posts. Candidates have an option to apply for both the SBI PO Posts while registering SBI online application.

SBI Probationary Officer Emoluments:

SBI PO Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years. They will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 11,880/- in the scale of Rs. 10000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I.

They will also be eligible for D.A., H.R.A. & C.C.A. as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Probationary Officers, including D.A., H.R.A. and C.C.A., are approximately Rs. 20,850/- at Metropolitan centres.

Perquisites: Bank, traditionally looks after its employees well, entitlement of perquisites are as per extant instructions applicable from time to time viz.

  • HTC / LFC, Provident Fund/ Pension, Medical aid for self and dependents, leased house.
  • Concession for Housing / Car / Personal Loans.

SBI Recruitment 2010 Notice: The pension scheme of the SBI Bank is under review. The new entrants may be entitled to defined contributory pension plan as may be decided by the Bank, which shall be final and binding.
