State Bank of India Recruitment 2010 Application Form
Candidates are required to go to any Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of prescribed fees and postage and get receipt from the branch. The receipt should be retained and produced at the time of SBI Probationary Officer written test.
The candidates are required to SBI apply online through SBI website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. No other means / mode of application will be accepted. The last date of registering Associate Bank SBI applications is 31.01.2010. Application registration on SBI website will be open from 01.01.2010 to 31.01.2010.
Candidates should have a valid email id. This will help him / her in getting call letter / interview advices etc. by e-mail.
Candidates must ensure that on deposit of fee, the branch issues him a receipt which should invariably mention Journal number (7-10 digits), Branch Name, Branch code number and Date of deposit.
The payment of fees should be made from 01.01.2010 to 25.01.2010. This date will be same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas.
Candidates should keep a copy of the SBI PO Exam Application printout and Fee Receipt for their record. An 'Acquaint Yourself' booklet and bio-data will be sent to the candidates along with the SBI call letter for written test.
Candidates serving in Government / Quasi Government offices, Public Sector undertaking including Nationalised Banks and financial Institutions will be required to submit 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer at the time of SBI interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid. Original payment receipt and bio-data will have to be submitted with the call letter at the time of SBI written examination.
The reserve category candidate will have to produce his/her original caste certificate / relevant certificates issued by the competent authority along with a declaration for availing reservation of OBC at the time of SBI interview, failing which his / her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she will not be admitted for interview.
OBC candidates, availing reservation will have to produce OBC certificate with Non-creamy layer clause issued on or before 31.01.2010, at the time of SBI interview.
Note: The SBI Associate Bank would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the basis of such an analysis, if it is suspected that the responses have been shared, the State Bank of India Associate Banks reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature.
Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of SBI PO Recruitment 2010 advertisement and/or an application in response there to can be instituted only in Mumbai and courts / tribunals / forums at Mumbai only shall have sole & exclusive jurisdiction to try any clause / dispute.
Last date for receipt of SBI Recruitment online applications: Application must be registered on or before the 31.01.2010.

Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct in SBI Associate Bank Recruitment 2010:
Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered / fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the SBI Associate Bank PO Recruitment application form.
At the time of SBI written examination / SBI interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of:
using unfair means during the SBI Associate Bank examination Or
impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person Or
misbehaving in the examination hall or taking away the question booklet (or any part thereof)/answer sheet from the examination hall Or
resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection Or
obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable:
to be disqualified from the examination for which he/she is a candidate.
to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by SBI State Bank of India.
for termination of service, if he/she has already joined the Bank.
