04. Sarva U.P. Gramin Bank Recruitment 2010 Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview for Postcodes 01 to 02. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications complete in all respect are received in time will be called for a Sarva UPGB Recuritment written test, which will comprise the following:

The Tests at SI. Nos. 01 to 03 above will be printed bilingual i.e. Hindi & English.
Note:
- Candidate must obtain 35% marks (30% for SC/ST) in each test.
Total marks obtained in all papers by the candidate will be minified treating aggregate marks as 60 for the purpose of preparing merit list after written examination.
There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
Marks obtained in the written test will be reckoned for merit ranking. Accordingly, candidates will be called for UPGB interview.
Depending upon the number of UPGB vacancies only those candidates who ranked sufficiently higher in the Sarva UPGB Recruitment written test will be called foe interview in the ratio of 1:4 (four times of the number of vacancies).
Mere eligibility / pass in the test shall not vest any right for being called for UPGB interview. Maximum marks for interview will be 40 and candidate must obtain minimum 50% (For SC/ST 45%) marks in interview.
Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded, after adding the marks obtained in the written test and interview.
The detailed information regarding the UPGB written test will be given in the "Acquaint yourself booklet which will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for Sarva UPGB Recruitment 2010 written examination.
05. Educational Qualifications for Sarva UPGB Recruitment 2010 (As on 01.01.2010)
Post Code 01: Officer Scale I)
A degree from any recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent.
Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is necessary but candidates must have very good knowledge / command on English language also.
Candidate with computer literates in MS DOS, MS Word, MS Excel, Networking etc. will get preference at the time of interview.
Candidates with higher qualifications in Engineering / Business Administration / Law / Agriculture / Veterinary Science / M.Sc. Computer Science / M.CS. Chartered Accountant / Horticulture / Marketing etc. will get preference at the time of interview.
Post Code 02: Clerk Cum Cashier / Office Assistants
Degree from a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent Or
Pass with 50% marks (45% for SC / ST candidates) in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2+3 pattern / Xl (11th) standard of XI (11th) +3 pattern / pre-degree Or intermediate Or any equivalent examination.
Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Governments or Union Territory Or
Pass with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC / ST candidates) in aggregate in matriculation / Senior school certificate (old pattern) / Or equivalent.
Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is necessary and good knowledge of English is required.
Candidate with computer literacy in MS DOS, MS Word, MS Excel, Networking etc. will get preference at the time of UPGB interview.
