Selection Procedure for North Malabar Gramin Bank Exam 2008:
Post Code 1:
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are properly filled and received in time will be called for a written test. The composition of the written test will be as follows.

All the questions of the test will be printed in English only.
Note: a) The marks obtained in first three papers will be reduced to 60% for the purpose of preparing merit list after the written examination.
b) The test of English language is only a qualifying exam and one has to obtain minimum of 35% marks.
Candidates obtaining sufficiently high ranks in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:3 depending upon the actual number of vacancies finalised by the Bank. Relaxation to the extent of 5% in marks will be granted to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category in interview.
For considering final selection, marks obtained in written test and interview will be added up. 40 marks are allotted for interview of which minimum 50% (20 marks) should be acquired by a candidate for considering for selection. (5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC is available).
Mere eligibility/pass in the written test shall not vest any right on candidates for being called for interview.
