Qualification: Post Graduates in any discipline (excluding PG Diplomas), Graduates in Engineering / Agricultural Sciences / Law with experience at the Bar.

Age Limit: 30 years as on 01.10.2009 i.e. candidates born on or after 30.09.1979 only are eligible to apply. The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee: Rs. 250/- [Rs. 150/-, in the case of SC/ST candidates] to be paid by way of Demand Draft (Non Refundable) favouring "Karnataka Bank Limited", payable at Mangalore, Karnataka State.

Applicants claiming reduced application fee should enclose a copy of their Caste Certificate of recent origin in the Central Govt, prescribed format along with the application.

Selection Process: By written test tentatively scheduled for 03.01.2010 (Afternoon) at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mangalore & Mumbai. Candidates who are successful in the written test will be called for an interview. No allowances/ reimbursement will be payable / made for attending the test/interview.

Appointment & Emoluments: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year and on satisfactory completion of the probationary period, will be confirmed, subject to rules and regulations of the Bank.

Salary will be as per All India Level settlements (Current approximate Gross Salary is Rs. 16,500/- exclusive of other allowances such as conveyance, canteen, medical aid, hospitalisation reimbursement, LFC etc.) Salary is under revision.
