Selection Procedure for Dena Bank Recruitment 2010

A. For post code No. 1 & 2 there will be only Dena Bank interview. For post code No. 3 there will be written test & interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.

The Dena Bank Recruitment reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for interview after preliminary screening / short listing with reference to candidate's qualifications, suitability, experience etc.

B. All the eligible candidates who apply for Post Code No.3 with the requisite fees and whose applications are received in time will be called for a written examination.

C. Dena Bank Recruitment reserves the right to change the selection strategy & hold written test & / or interview for any of the posts.

Dena Bank Written Test: For Officers (IT/SYS) in JMG Scale-I

Objective Test for Officer Recruitment in Dena Bank:

[* The test of English language paper will be of qualifying nature only and will not be considered for merit listing.]

Note:

Common Criteria:

  1. Wrong answers given in Objective Test will result in Negative Marks.
  2. The minimum qualifying marks in each paper for merit ranking shall be decided on group norms. There will be separate Group norms for SC / ST candidates with relaxed standard.
  3. The candidate must obtain minimum 40% (35% for SC / ST / OBC candidates) marks in the papers of only qualifying nature (as referred above) to be eligible for merit ranking for the purpose of interview.

Conducting Dena Bank Interviews:

  1. The short listed candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Written Test (Objective Test for Officer IT / SYS in JMG Scale-I ) will be called for interview in order of merit in the ratio of 1:4 (1:5 in case of SC / ST / OBC).
  2. The Interview will carry 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 40% (35% in case of SC / ST / OBC candidates). Marks obtained in interview will be reckoned for merit ranking.

The detailed information regarding the written examination will be given in the "Acquaint Yourself" booklet which will be sent to the candidates along with the Dena Bank call letter for written examination.

Dena Bank Examination Centres and Date of Examination: The written examination will be held on 23.05.2010 at the following Centres. The examination centres are tentative and may change depending on response of the applicants.

No change in the examination centre will be permitted under any circumstances. The Dena Bank may at its discretion allot a different centre to a candidate, add / cancel a particular centre if the circumstances so warrant.
