2. Eligibility Criteria:

(A) Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either i) a citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) a subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the Government of India.

(B) Educational Qualification And Post Qualification Experience

Note: For posts where experience is essential /desirable, it should be full time and will be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed qualification upto the date of application, (b) Educational Qualifications and Post Qualification Experience should be as on the date of application, (c) Experience in the relevant field of the post applied for, will only be counted, (d) Candidates whose result is awaited are not eligible.

Post code no. 01 - Assistant General Manager (InformationTechnology)(SMG Scale-V):

Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution. BEB.Tech Information Science and Engineering or related disciplines or M.Sc/MCA in Computer Science/ Software Engineering/Computer Applications or MBA with Systems as Specialization or M.Sc/M.Com/ CA/ICWA with Diploma in Computers of duration of minimum 6 months will bean added qualification.

Desirable: Certifications such as CISA/CISM/CISCONA/ ORACLE.

Essential Experience: Post-Qualification work experience of at least 10 years in a commercial bank as an officer, out of which at least 7 years in IT department with 2 years at a lead position as Chief Manager in IT department handling functions such as - Purchase and installation of core banking software, Operation of core banking software, Development and implementation of Internet Banking, Operation and Management of Total Branch Automation/Wide Area Networking / Data Centres.

Postcode no. 02-Security Officer (JMG Scale-I):

Educational Qualification: Graduate from recognized University.

Experience: 5 years commissioned service as an officer either in the Army Navy/Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police/ Deputy Superintendent of Police with a minimum of 5 years of service in that rank or an officer of identical rank in Paramilitary Forces with 5 years experience.

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level or Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Degree level. First Class(with a minimum of 60% marks) at the Degree level.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa in a Full Time Post in a reputed organization or 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Hindi Translation.

3. Relaxation in upper age limit: i) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.

ii) Ex-Servicemen by 3 years (in addition to the usual period of service in the Defence forces subject to a maximum age of 50 years).

iii) Other Backward Class candidates by 3 years. iv) All persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 by 5 years. v) VH/HI/OH candidates:

By10 years for SC/3T[including3i above]
By 8 years for OBC [including 3 iii above]
By 5 years for Gen.

NOTE: a) An Ex-Serviceman who has once joined a Govt job on the civil side after availing of the benefits given to him as an Ex-Serviceman for his re-employment, his ex-serviceman status for the purpose of re-employment in government ceases, b) The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt of India guidelines, c) All persons eligible for age relaxation under 3(iv) above must produce the domicile certificate atthe time of interview, from the DistrictMagistrate in the Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily resided or any other authority designated in this regard by the Govt of Jammu & Kashmir, to the effect that the candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during 1st January, 1980 to the 31 "dayof December, 1989

4. Application fee including postal charges (non-refundable)

For SC/ST/VH/HI/OH candidates - Rs. 50/- (for each post) For All Others - Rs. 250/- (for each post) (including OBCs / Ex-Servicemen).

Note: (i) Requisite application Fee must be paid by means of Bank of Order / Bank Draft Issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank Payable at Mangalore in favour of Corporation Bank Recruitment Project Officers. (ii) Bank Draft / Bank Pay Order must be purchased on or after the date of advertisement but on or before the last date of submission of application. (iii) Payment of cash / Cheque / Money order etc. will not be accepted (iv)Candidates must write his / her name and adress on the reverse of the Bank Draft / Bank Pay
