Application fee including Postal Charges (Non Refundable: Rs.300/-).

Note:

1. The requisite application fee must be paid by means of a crossed Demand Draft issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank in favour of "Canara Bank Recruitment of Chief Security Officer – Project 2008”, payable at Bangalore.
2. Demand Draft should have been purchased on or before 03.01.2009.
3. Payment of application fee by Cash / Cheque / Money Orders / Postal stamps etc will not be accepted.
4. Candidates must write his/her name, post, date of birth on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the interview. Mere satisfying the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate to be called for interview.

Depending on the number of applications received, the Bank reserves the right to call only a required number of candidates after preliminary screening and shortlisting of applications, with reference to qualification, experience and suitability.

Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if needed. The change, if any, shall be communicated to the candidates in advance. The final selection will be based on the performance in the Interview only.

Scale of Pay:

Rs. 24,140-620/4-26,620 plus Dearness Allowance of Rs. 10,993.35 (at present) at the minimum of the Scale, Bank Quarters with furniture, Medical Aid, Leave Travel Concession, Conveyance etc., as per rules. The fixation of pay will be made as per the Government guidelines in vogue.

Probation: One [01] year from the date of joining the services of the Bank.
