9. How to Apply for Canara Bank Recruitment

The eligible candidates are required to apply ON-LINE through bank’s website www.canarabank.com. No other means / mode of applications will be accepted.

The link for registration of application will be open on our website from 17.10.2007 to 05.11.2007.

Staying and posting from abroad, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh.

The Bank will not be responsible for any loss of application print-out in transit or for rejection of candidature for non receipt of print-out. The print-out of application received after last date will not be entertained.

11. Call Letters

All the communication viz, call letters for test / interview etc., will be sent to the correspondence address given in the application form by ordinary post only. Request for sending to different addresses subsequently will not be accepted.

An eligible candidate who does not receive the test call letter by 18.12.2007 may contact the Bank’s office at the respective centre’s address, between 19.12.2007 and 22.12.2007 indicating his/her name, address, date of birth, details of Demand Draft, post / s applied and the Examination Centre opted, to enable the Bank to take immediate remedial action for issuing duplicate call letter.

The interview schedule will be displayed in the Bank’s website. Candidates are advised to check the Bank’s website www.canarabank.com for the details of the candidates called for interview and interview schedule or for any other communication regarding the recruitment.

The shortlisted candidate who do not receive the interview call letter may contact the Bank at the address given below, indicating his/her name, roll no, post name to enable the Bank to take immediate remedial action.

12. Action Against Candidates Found Guility of Misconduct

Candidates should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or suppress any material information while registering the application and submitting the certified copies / testimonials.

At the time of examination / interview, if a candidate is or has been found guilty of using unfair means during the test; or impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person; or misbehaving in the examination hall or taking away the question booklet, answer sheet etc, if any, from the examination hall; or resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his / her candidature for the selection; or obtaining support of his / her candidature by any means, such a candidate may in addition to rendering himself / herself liable to criminal prosecution, will be liable

a] to be disqualified from the examination / interview for which he / she is a candidate

b] to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period from any examination or selection held by the Bank.

The Bank / IBPS would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. If, as per the laid down procedure, it is suspected that the responses have been shared and the scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his / her candidature.
