Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL / Company), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India presently having its presses at Mysore in Karnataka and Salboni in West Bengal with Corporate Office at Bangalore invites applications from willing candidates for the post of Industrial Workman Grade - I (Trainee).

1. Vacancies / Reservation

1. Number of posts proposed to be filled is 60. However, the actual number of posts to be filled will be determined in due course,
2. Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD (OH & HI only)/ExS etc. categories are applicable as per extant Goverment of India orders.

Note:

1. Orthopaedically Handicapped (OH) and Hearing Impaired (HI) candidates are eligible for the above posts. an Orthopaedically Handicapped person is one having a minimum of 40% physical defect or deformity which causes an interference with the normal functioning of the bones, muscles and joints and is so certified by the Competent Authority.
2. A Hearing Impaired person is one with the degree of disability between 40% and 75% duly certified by Competent Authority.

i) Qualification (As on 1st January 2009) as on 1st January 2009 the candidates should have passed Diploma in Printing Technology (Course approved by the Government/ Competent Authority) with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate (a pass in respect of SC/ST candidates) from a Government Recognized Institute/ University.

Note: Candidates who do not fulfill the minimum educational qualification as on the stipulated date are not eligible and need not apply for the post.

ii) Pay Scale (Rs.7000-24240) + Grade Pay of Rs.2280 the selected candidates will be taken on training initially for one year during which period they will be given mainly "on-the-job" training.

They will be paid a stipend of Rs.7000/- plus Special Allowance of Rs.1000/-per month. In addition to this, the candidates are also eligible for food vouchers of Rs.1040/- p.m. and Transport allowance of Rs.750/- p.m. as per the rules of the Company.

On successful completion of training, the candidates will be placed on probation for a period of one year in the pay scale of Rs.7000-24240 + Grade Pay of Rs.2280.

The period of probation may be extended by a further maximum period of one year at the discretion of the Company. on placement on probation / confirmation, the employees will be eligible for Dearness Allowance and other admissible allowances etc., the gross emoluments work out to Rs.13000/-p.m: approx. and are also eligible for other facilities as applicable to the regular Industrial Workmen staff in Gr - I.

iii) Accommodation: The selected candidates on appointment will be eligible for allotment of Quarters as per the allotment rules of the Company.

iv) Career Growth Prospects: The Company has a Scheme of Time-Bound Promotion for Industrial Workmen Staff.

According to which, employees in Industrial Workman Gr-I, Gr-ll, Gr-lll, and Gr-IV will be eligible for promotion to Industrial Workman Gr-ll, Gr-lll, Gr-IV and Gr-V after completion of 3 years each in Gr-I and Gr-ll and 5 years in Gr-lll and Gr - IV respectively in the Company in the normal course subject to the parameters laid down in the Scheme.

The period of training is counted as period of service for the purpose of Time Bound Promotion.

v) Age: Between 18 and 27 years as on 1st January 2009.
