General Instructions for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2010 Clerk :

1. Candidates are required to apply only online. Any other form of application shall be rejected. Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
2. In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, the certificate inter-alia must specify that the candidate does not belong to "Creamy Layer" section. Candidates belonging to Creamy Layer will be excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBCs in Civil Post and Services under Govt. of India.

OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of application. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the "Creamy Layer", hence not entitled to OBC reservation and age relaxation should indicate their category as "GEN" or "GEN (OH)" or "GEN (VH)" (as applicable).

3. PWD candidates claiming the benefit of reservations / age relaxation should submit a copy of Medical Certificate as specified in the "The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full Participation) Act, 1995" in support of their disability.
4. The candidates will have to appear for written test and interview at their own expense. However, eligible SC / ST / PWD outstation candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class ordinary train / bus fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel.
5. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in the State for which he / she has applied should apply.
6. Any request for change of address will not be entertained.
7. Before applying for the Bank of Baroda Clerical Recruitment, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. Decision of the BOB Bank in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, the documents is to be produced for the purpose of the conduct of examination, interview, selection and any other matter relating to bank of baroda recruitment will be final and binding on the candidate.

No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the Bank in this behalf. In case it is detected at any stage of bank of baroda clerical recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information / certificate / documents or has suppressed any material (facts), his / her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after appointment, his / her services are liable to be terminated.

Self attested photocopy of the HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern / 11th Standard of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Admn. /Graduation degree / Marksheet indicating percentage should be kept ready for submission at the time of interview.

In addition, candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD category are required to submit an attested copy of their Caste Certificate/Certificate of Handicap issued by the Competent Authority as specified in Clause VIII at the time of interview. However, all candidates will have to produce original as well as self attested photocopies of certificates regarding qualification, experience, date of birth and caste (if applicable), in support of their eligibility at the time of interview, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

8. Physically handicapped candidates claiming the benefit of reservation / age relaxation should submit a copy of Medical Certificate as specified in the Disabilities Act of 1995 in support of their disability.
9. Any request for change of address / Centre will not be entertained.
10. Any resultant dispute arising out of the advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated in Mumbai.
11. The BOB Bank takes no responsibility to connect any Certificate / Remittance sent separately.
12. In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation of version other than English, English version will prevail. No candidate is permitted to use calculator, telephones of any kind, pagers, cell phone or any such other calculating devices / instruments during the written examination / selection process.
13. The candidates will appear for the written examination at the allotted centers at their own expenses and risk and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury / losses etc. of any nature.
14. The BOB Bank Recruitment may at its discretion hold re-examination when found necessary in respect of a centre / venue.
15. Bank of Baroda Appointment letter of selected candidate is subject to their being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank and verification of their antecedents through the Police / other agencies. Such appointment will also be subject to the Service Rules of the Bank & Bipartite Settlement.
16. Admission to written test examination and further process of selection will be purely provisional without verification of age / qualification / category (SC / ST / PWD) etc. of the candidates with reference to documents.
17. Candidates uploading more than one application for any reason will be treated as ineligible.
18. As the applications are to be processed by a Computerized System, it is essential that the application is completely filled online.
19. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct :

Candidates are advised in their own interest that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form.

At the time of written examination / interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of:

1. Using unfair means during the bank of baroda exam 2010 Or
2. Impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person Or
3. Misbehaving in the examination hall or taking away the question booklet / answer sheet from the examination hall Or
4. Resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his / her candidature by selection Or
5. Obtaining support for his / her candidature by any means.

Such a candidate, in addition to rendering himself / herself liable to criminal prosecution, shall be liable :

1. to be disqualified from the examination for which he / she is a candidate.
2. to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by BOB Bank of Baroda.

The Bank of Baroda would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. If as per the laid down procedure it is suspected that the responses have been shared and the scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his / her candidature.

The Competent Authority for the issue of the certificate to SC / ST / PWD is as under :

1. For SC / ST: District Magistrate / Additional Dist. Magistrate / Collector / Deputy Commissioner / Additional Dy. Commissioner / Dy. Collector / First Class Stipendary Magistrate / Sub-Division Magistrate / Taluka Magistrate / Executive Magistrate / Extra Assistant Commissioner / Chief Presidency Magistrate / Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate / Presidency Magistrate / Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar / Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and / or his / her family normally resides.

2. For Persons with Disabilities: Authorized Certifying Authority will be a Medical Board duly constituted by the Central / State Government having at least 3 members consisting of Chief Medical Officer, Sub-Divisional Medical Officer in the District and an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Opthalmology Surgeon, ENT Surgeon as the case may be.
