3. Educational Qualifications & Post Qualification Work Experience as on 01.01.2008 :
Post Educational Qualification Work Experience Senior Manager - CA/ICWA/MBA(Finance)/MMS (Finance)/ Minimum 3 (Three) years experience in Credit MFC (Finance) from a recognized Officer cadre in area of Finance preferably University/Institution with recognition from 2 (two) years in Project Appraisal/Credit AICTE with basic knowledge of computer Appraisal in any Public Sector Bank/operation. Financial Institution.
Preference will be given to those candidates (Experience in Audit/Sales/Marketing/ who have passed both parts of CAIIB. Accounts/Teaching/Brokerage firm will not be considered. Experience must be as a full time employee not on adhoc/temporary basis).
Candidates working with any Public/Private Sector Bank must have minimum 1 year of service in MMG Scale-II. Or equivalent scale Sr. Manager - CA/ICWA/MBA(Finance)/MMS (Finance)/ Minimum 3 (Three) years of Foreign Forex MFC (Finance) from a recognized University/ Exchange work experience, as an Institution with recognition from AICTE with Officer, in a Bank or Financial Services basic knowledge of computer operation. Company or an Authorised Forex Dealer Preference will be given to those candidates or a Financial Broking Company with who have passed both parts of CAIIB. exposure in any of the following areas – Or (a) International Trade Finance – Import A Graduate with minimum 55% marks (for Export L/Cs, Gurarantee arranging Buyer’s SC/ST/PC candidates – 50% marks) having Credit, Supplier’s Credit (b) Remittances relevant experience in Foreign Exchange (c) NRI services (d) handling ECGC matters of any Public Sector Bank / Private Bank (e) statistical returns to Regulators.

All Educational Qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University/Institute. The Educational Qualifications prescribed for the post are the minimum. Candidates must possess these qualifications and must attach proof thereof along with the application Form.
The work experience, wherever, required should be relevant to the post applied for and should be post qualification i.e. it will be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed qualification.

Note :
(i) Allahabad Bank Application fee including postage should be paid by a single Demand Draft / Bankers’ Cheque issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank to be drawn as below – “Allahabad Bank Recruitment Account –Officers Project” payable at Kolkata.
(ii) Candidate must write his/her name, date of birth & address on the reverse side of the Bank Draft/ Bankers’ Cheque.
(iii) Payment of application fee and/or postage charges by Cash / Cheques / Money Orders etc will not be accepted.
(iv) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other selection process.
5. Allahabad Bank Selection Procedure :
(i) Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
(ii) All the eligible candidates who apply and whose applications are received in time will be considered for selection process.
(iii) Mode of selection may be through written test and/ or interview. The Bank reserves the absolute right to decide whether to hold all or any of the modes. Bank also reserves the right to shortlist limited number of candidates for the post on the basis of either age, qualification, work experience or any suitable criteria.

7. How To Apply for Allahabad Bank Recruitment:
(a) All eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application Format given at the end of this advertisement to reach on or before the last date for receipt of applications. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
(b) A candidate must fill the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS in his/ her own handwriting.
(c) Application should be in A-4 size paper (11.69” x 8.27”) and should be strictly as per the format and contains no correction / alteration/ over writings. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application –
caste/tribe/community/disability/defence service certificate in case candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC/PC/XS.
Class X certificate/ mark list containing date of birth.
Xerox copies of educational qualifications & work experience certificate, whatever necessary.
(d) Applications complete in all respects should be sent only by Ordinary Post on the following address – “Allahabad Bank, Officers Recruitment Project, Head Office, Personnel Administration Deptt., Recruitment Cell, 4th Floor, 15, India Exchange Place, Kolkata - 700 001.” The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with the following “Application for Sr. Manager – Credit/Forex”.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications :
Applications complete in all respect should reach on or before 05.02.2008.
For the candidates staying abroad and for those posting applications from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep, Assam, Megahalya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahul and Spiti Distt and Pangi Sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipt of applications will be 12.02.2008.
An application received after last date will not be entertained.
