Nature of the Post: Gazetted / Temporary / Pension as per Goverment Rules, Notification No. C-3-379/ 10-05-301 (9)/2003, dated 28.3.2005.,

Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13500,

Period of Probation: Two years,

Age Limit : 21 to 35 years (Relaxation in age as per Rules).,

Department Number : S-9/4,

Qualification Essential - (A)

1. Bachelors Degree in Science with Biology, Chemistry or Agriculture from a University established under Law in India or a Degree declared by the Goverment as equivalent there to;-
2. Training from a recognized Sericulture Institute.
3. Experience of Two years in Sericulture.

(B) Preferential:-

1. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of Two years.
2. Obtained a "B" Certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Animal Husbandry Department U.P. 78 (Seventy Eight) Posts of Veterinary Medical Officers Under U.P. Veterinary Services Class II.

Nature of post - Gazetted / temporary, but likely to be continued.

Pay scale - Rs. 8000-13,500/- (Department. No.-Services-2/21)

Reservation -

1. Vertical Reservation:-
   16 posts for S.C. candidates of U.P. 02 posts for ST. candidates of U.P. and 21 posts for O.B.C. candidates of U.P. are reserved.
2. Horizontal reservation: 1.02 posts for dependents of freedom fighters.

2. 03 Posts for Physically Handicapped :-

1. 01 Post for Blindness or low vision.
2. 01 Post for Hearing impairment, and
3. 01 Post for Loco motors disability or cerebral palsy.3.16 Posts for women candidates of U.P.

Qualifications :- Essential:-

1. A Degree of Bachelor Of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a University established by law in India or a degree recognized by the Government as equivalent there to or other recognized Veterinary qualification as defined in Clause (c) of Section 2 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 (Act No. 52 of 1984), as amended from time to time
2. Must be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary council.

Preferential qualification:- A candidate other things being equal be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment, if he,

1. Has post graduate diploma, degree or higher qualification, or
2. Be served in the territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
3. Has obtained a 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Age:- 21 to 35 years (Relaxation in age as per rules).
